In their final race before the GNAC Championships in two weeks, the SPU teams again raced without their fastest members.  A day earlier, seniors Jessica Pixler and Jane Larson finished 1st and 2nd at the San Francisco State Invitational in Golden Gate Park.  On the men's side, senior Chad Meis and junior Jordan Lance also raced in San Francisco with Meis placing 9th. 

Just in time for post-season racing, sophomore Natty Plunkett earned a top-ten finish in her first race of the season upon returning from injury.  Timing couldn't be better to get this 2008 GNAC Freshman of the Year back.   Here at Lake Padden, just south of Bellingham, both the Falcon women and men showed that they are ready to step up to the challenge of the pending championships.
