The BCS varsity teams raced a few runners short due to illness, and from news reports, this may affect all Emerald City League (1A WIAA District 2) teams over the course of this season.

The junior high teams saw their first action and the huge sixteen member BCS boys team was a great change from previous years.  It really kept your cameraman busy.

The weather was warm and sunny but photography back in  the dark wooded trails of Lincoln Park is always problematic.

This woodsy four lap 5K course (2 laps for the JH) will give way to the more spectator friendly Kelsey Creek course in Bellevue on September 22nd.  Sun and 79 degrees has been ordered for Tuesday.  (I'm told "The Hill" at Kelsey Creek may have one of the steepest descents of any course in the State.   But we haven't lost a runner . . . yet.)
