It was a dark and stormy night . . . well, not quite, but it was surely a gray and windy late afternoon at Kelsey Creek Park for the 2009 Emerald City League Championships.    The BCS girls captured second place behind Seattle Academy and will challenge for a top six finish at Tri-Districts on Saturday, October 31st, for a trip to State.  The boys team finished 4th in their race.  The soggy home BCS course at Kelsey Creek Park was a good preview of what to expect at American Lake Veterans Golf Course next Saturday.   Complete race results at Athletic.net.

You could see this coming during the spring Track & Field season.
First place Cedar Park Christian had the dominant Emerald City League
boys team all season.

The expected battle between 1st place Seattle Academy and Northwest
(3rd place) did not materialize.  Their great team effort was on display as
SAAS placed four runners in the top 15.

Still keeping our back foot in front.  Thanks Coach Sloan.
