November 1st marked the last race
this season for most of the Cross Country teams in
Washington. Such was not the case for the
teams from Bellevue Christian.
GIRLS RACE:
On the Athletic.net web site, the
hypothetical race posted there predicted that the
BCS girls would capture 2nd place in the Westside
Classic, which they did with a lower (better) score
than predicted. The top six teams advanced to
the State meet in Pasco. University Prep from
the Emerald City League finished in 6th place and
will join BCS at State.

BOYS RACE:
Based on a "best times" hypothetical race
calculation, the BCS boys were predicted to take 6th
place in the 17 team Westside Classic.
This year only the top five boys teams would advance
to State. (In 2009 it will be the top six.)
When BCS was not announced as the 6th place team, a
great Viking cheer went up. The BCS 5th place finish
kept the boys team's eight consecutive year State
team streak alive.
