Racing began at 5:00PM on Saturday night and continued to the awards ceremony after 9:00PM at Cedarcrest Golf Course in Marysville.  Races got quicker as the night got darker.  BCS competed against 34 other boys teams and 30 other girls teams.  As the pictures show, the weather was ideal.

The meet format began with boys and girls junior varsity races, followed by 5-6-7-8 boys and girls, 1-2-3-4 boys and girls, and a high school open race.  Despite the poor visibility in the later races, (course lights being very widely spaced), many Vikings had outstanding times.

The BCS high school teams will return to Cedarcrest for the North County Invite on Thursday, October 16th.  No doubt some more hill training will be planned between now and then.
