The Junior High teams joined the Varsity at this first Emerald City League meet of the 2008 season.

The meet was ably hosted by The Bush School and run in sunny weather at Lincoln Park in West Seattle.  The Junior High runners made two laps while the Varsity runners made four laps (5K) on a new course.

Led by senior Andrew Van Ness who finished first at 17:19, the Viking boys won their race with a score of 34, followed by Northwest, 2nd with 88.  Eighty-one runners from eight schools competed.

Junior Allison Hussey finished 1st for BCS and 2nd overall, to lead the Lady Vikings to their own victory with 33 points followed by University Prep with 58 and Bush at 59.
