Some
fans actually got sunburned on
Saturday at the 25th running
of the Hole-in-the-Wall Invitational at Lakewood
High School in Snohomish County. When the BCS
team arrived, there was frost on the course and fog
in the air. But a great sunny day of racing
followed.
A few of the BCS
harriers showed improvement,
most notably Erin Peterson and Steve Koster.
But many will need to dig deeper at the
North County Invite in
Marysville this coming Thursday, as it is their
final tune-up for the Emerald City League
Championships on Wednesday the 22nd.
(A
HeraldNet.com article says that, "the
original Hole in the Wall was an opening in a
cyclone fence erected by the school district when
Lakewood High School first opened in the early 1980s.")
