The regular season has ended and the post-season begins.  Next week is the Westside Classic Tri-District Championships.  The regular season concluded
with substantial victories for both the BCS girls and boys teams.  As in all of
the other Emerald City League (WIAA District 2) meets in which they've run
this year, both Viking teams took first place.

The turning autumn leaves told this was mid-autumn not late summer.  The warm, sunny weather was amazing.  Can you remember the drenching rain and cold at the 2007 league championships?

BCS placed five runners in the top 15 in both of the races.  (The boys cheered when their score was announced as lower than the Lady Vikings - finally!)  This is the first time both BCS teams have led the league.  And this is the third consecutive league championship for the BCS boys.  With nine graduating seniors on their two teams, we can expect a strong challenge from our sister schools in the Emerald City League in 2009.
