Both the BCS Girls Junior
High team and the BCS Girls Varsity team raced in the
Emerald City League Championships on Wednesday, October
17th, with the minimum required five athletes.
Both of these teams took 3rd place in their respective
races. The Varsity Girls will race again on
Friday, October 26th, at the District 2 Championships at
Kelsey Creek Park.

The BCS Varsity
Boys captured their second consecutive Emerald City
League Championship, running in a heavy rain squall that
began just as the girls race was ending and ended just
as the awards were being announced. The top five
BCS finishers placed 3rd, 4th, 13th, 15th and 16th to
secure the victory. They will race for the
District 2 title and a possible trip to State on the
26th.
