Road trip!!!  It's 177 miles from Bellevue to Mabton (half way between Yakima and the Tri-Cities) and eight miles south of Sunnyside on I-82 (where Coach Del La Rosa wrestled in high school.)  With the weigh-in scheduled for 8:00 a.m., BCS used Friday as their travel day.  A good number of parents and other fans also made the road trip east ― and discovered what we expected ― tough eastern Washington wrestling!

The "Mid-Valley Classic" included Cle Elum, Sunnyside, Riverview, Wahluke, Reardan, Naches, Rainier, Mabton, and Bellevue Christian, with Reardan showing their dominance against strong competition by winning the team title.  BCS top placers included Tyler Erme (4th at 135), Jon Fouquier (3rd at 140), and Jake Fouquier (3rd at 145).
