At least for a few Viking wrestlers, the 2008-09 season was launched at the Eastside Catholic Jamboree on November 29th.  BCS was represented by senior Matt Del Moro, sophomore Xavier Williams, and freshmen Tyler Erme and Riley Carney.  Wrestlers were matched on both weight and experience, and only takedowns were scored.  Wrestlers competed in three two-minute matches, each divided into two one-minute periods.  Tyler Erme was especially impressive, scoring the most takedowns in his group.
