Teams from twenty-three Christian schools competed at the long-running King's Invitational.  Today's meet results are at Athletic.net

The weatherman was the big winner, having predicted the early rain that arrived right on schedule around noon.  Rain, wind, and sun all took turns making trouble for your photographer and the athletes.

Due to its many schools, only two athletes from each were allowed to compete in each event.  Despite this limitation, some events had as many as six heats.  In addition, the open mile, freshman/sophomore mile (both boys and girls), and a break for devotions, again made the King's Invite the longest meet of the year.  Coming in the same week as the Lynden Christian meet, perhaps the most expeditious meet of the season, we've now seen the long and the short of it.

This next week has us returning to Charles Wright Academy on Thursday, followed by our own BCS Invite on Saturday at Interlake High Sghool.  Good times!
