Tri-District is just a taste of what competing at State is like.  Only the top athletes from each team are competing from 1A schools in northwest Washington.  The top 5 men and top 6 women out of 16 in each event will advance to vie for the titles of State Medalist or, perhaps, State Champion.  On Thursday at King's High School we've already seen some performances worthy of those honors.  Some distance and field events held their finals tonight.  The top 8 individuals and relay teams will go at it again on Saturday.
