Our young Bellevue Christian girls team captured its second consecutive WIAA 1A State Track & Field Championship on Saturday, May 29th, at Woodward Field on the campus of Eastern Washington University in Cheney.  Graduated from the roster were names like Terra, Michelle, Stephanie, Becca, and Jill, to be replaced by newcomers Bridget and Noelle.  The 2010 team outscored our friends and fellow Emerald City League school, runner up Seattle Academy of the Arts and Sciences, 63 to 51, followed by King's with 47 and La Center with 45.

The  2010 score of 63 topped their 2009 total of 56, and this was the second back-to-back victory of the five girls State Championships won by the Vikings ('75, '92, '93, '09, '10).

Relive the final day of competition below and the victory celebration that followed, all the way back to Clyde Hill.

. . . whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
