The first regular Emerald City League meet of the 2010 season got off with a bang. The BCS boys took 1st place, doubling the team score of runner up Northwest 204 to 102.  The Viking girls also won but narrowly, 155.5 to 143.5 over second place Seattle Academy.  But early season results can be deceiving, with not all teams competing at full strength.
BCS hosted this meet on Friday night, March 26th at Lake Washington High School.  The meet that started at 5:30 p.m., finished under the lights.

Individual event winners for BCS included: (GIRLS) Allison Hussey 1600m, Bridget Ralston 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles, Altig-Hussey-Clark-Crosby 4x400m relay, Paige Berdan Javelin, Mackenzie Altig Long Jump. (BOYS) Kyle Smit 800m, Michael Milbank 1600m, Hussey-Murray-Milbank-Mitchell 4x400m relay, and John Miller High Jump.

Photography after sunset tested your photographer's skill, but his new not-so-secret weapon, a 70-200mm VR lens proved  that "good glass" is the photographers best friend.
