I checked
Weather.com a few times and they assured me that we had a
good four hours of broken clouds and sun for our late
afternoon of running, jumping and throwing. But alas,
it was April Fools' Day and we were holding our "2nd Annual"
BCS FLYNNVITATIONAL! Appropriate to the day, our "1st
Annual" Flynnvitational (at Flynn Field at Bellevue
Christian School) was held on
April
2, 2008. This year the BCS Vikings were joined by
the Blazers from The Bush School and by the Rainier
Mountaineers.
It could have been colder and
wetter. We can be truly thankful that
our meet was not scheduled on Good Friday, (couldn't happen
at BCS anyway.) A big early Spring storm is due to
blow through Western Washington.
It's Easter break at BCS, so
photos, lots of 'em, will be posted here over the next week.
