"The
Horde". One of the 1B coaches remarked at the big team
that our Vikings had advanced to the Tri-District championships.
I told him that BCS was not putting on a musical this spring!
Three seniors started the roster of BCS athletes at
State. Throwers Stephanie Miller (3rd in the Shot Put) and
Michelle Teng (2nd in the Javelin) qualified on Thursday for a
trip to Cheney. And distance man Andrew Van Ness did it
the hard way. His 4:26.68 in the 1600m was just faster
than the 4:26.82 automatic qualifying standard for 1A boys.
