The 2nd place plaque for the combined scores of the boys and girls teams at this fourteen school meet goes far toward explaining what a great afternoon and evening the Vikings enjoyed running, jumping, and throwing.  Despite mid-season injuries that have sidelined a few top athletes, BCS rose again to the challenge.

Individual 1st place finishes were recorded by seniors Andrew Van Ness (10:23.08 in the 3200m run) and  Michelle Teng (112'-4" in the javelin).  Capping the meet was this 400m circuit of the track by freshman Bree Oldham (above), who anchored an exiting come-from-behind victory in the 4x400m relay, the final event of the evening.   See the full results at Athletic.net.
