After many years, BCS was able to once again host a meet at Bellevue High School's Bellevue Memorial Stadium.  Reactions from coaches, athletes, parents and fans were all positive and we hope to make an annual tradition of the BCS Invitational. 
 
The 11 teams attending included: 

(1B)  Mt Rainier Lutheran; (2B)  Evergreen Lutheran, Riverside Christian, Tacoma Baptist; (1A)  Bellevue Christian, Bush, Northwest, Seattle Academy, University Prep, Vashon Island;
(2A)  Eatonville.  (Bear Creek was an unfortunate late cancelation due to the current flu emergency.)

A light rain prevailed through the early parts of the meet, but gave way to broken clouds and sunshine.  This efficiently run meet finished ahead of schedule (so much so that the BCS coaches were already having dinner when a late afternoon deluge plowed through Bellevue.)

• Boys Track: Dana Wells (Riverside Christian)
  1st 100m; 1st 110m Hurdles; 1st 300m Hurdles; 1st 4x400m Relay

• Boys Field: Patrick McMahon (Seattle Academy)
  1st Javelin; 1st High Jump; 3rd Discus

• Girls Track: Terra Oldham (Bellevue Christian School)
  1st 100m Hurdles; 1st 300m Hurdles; 3rd Triple Jump; 1st 4x400m Relay

• Girls Field: Courtney Fairhart (Eatonville)
  1st Discus; 2nd Javelin; 4th Shot Put
