The first day of the WIAA 1A & 2A Track & Field Championships found BCS athletes competing in thirteen different events.  Every individual or relay team that needed to advance from Friday's preliminary races to the championship finals on Saturday did so!  And in the field events, the Vikings celebrated their first State Medalist, Aaron Iseman, who captured 2nd place in the long jump with a jump of 21-1.25". 

Rain threatened early in the day and returned lightly at its end, but most of the meet was held under gray skies with sun breaks and moderate winds.
